Why Commercial Buildings Need It Too
A building with the wrong insulation, or none, runs its HVAC harder all year to make up for it, and you pay for that every month for as long as you're in there. Metal buildings have their own problem: without the right product and vapor control, condensation drips off the roof deck. Closed-cell spray foam fixes that by bonding straight to the metal so there's no gap. Open-cell isn't an option here, because it can't be applied directly to metal.
Insulation is also part of meeting Georgia's energy code for new commercial construction and major renovations, and we account for that on every commercial job.

How much does commercial insulation cost?
There's no flat rate for commercial work. Cost depends on square footage, ceiling height, building type (metal or wood-framed), what insulation is already there, and whether we're working around an open business. A small retail buildout and a full warehouse retrofit aren't priced the same way. We'll walk the site, scope the job in writing, and give you an itemized quote before any work starts.

In a lot of cases, yes, especially retrofits done one section at a time. Spray foam does require the immediate work area to be empty for 24 hours while it cures, so we'll plan around that with you.
The materials are mostly the same, spray foam and blown-in. Commercial jobs are usually bigger, involve buildings like metal shops and warehouses, and get scheduled around a business instead of a family's routine.
